Presently anyone may comment on articles “without” registering.
General Site Information & Posting How To
Posts are organized by categories / topics. When you create a post you need to select a topic. Examples of these are General, How To, Meetings, Services, I need to Vent, etc. The HOME page shows the last few articles posted by date submitted. Clicking on Archive and or category will filter and provide articles accordingly. Only Categories actually containing posts are shown in the listing. In some cases only a preview portion of the post is shown, clicking the Title of the post will display the entire article.
Clicking on “no comments” or “comments” (whichever the case) will display any comments made to the article and provide you an opportunity to add you’re own point of view or input a rebuttal. Enter you’re name, email, security word and comment away.
After Registration you will be sent a password to the email provided, I recommend you log-in and change you’re password under user settings. To add an article / post, click “Write” then “Posts” simply type you’re Title and type you’re article in the Page area, choose a category and click “publish”, it really is that simple. If you can not publish you’re article in the event you didn’t have time to complete it, click save and return later to complete it at you’re leisure. Once published it will be viewable on the site, unpublished posts are not viewable.
The Event Calendar currently allows registered users to add, and edit events within the calendar. After log-in, click on “Event Calendar” and at the bottom of the page enter the details for your event. You have the option of having the system create a post on the main page automatically for you if desired, just check the box “create post”. To edit an event click on it and change details for the event accordingly.
On framing you’re posts bear in mind this site was made to assist in creating and maintaining communication as well as foster open dialogue with residents, for residents, by residents. Personal attacks, vulgar language and the like will not be tolerated. Although free expression, free speech and free thinking are highly encouraged.
I encourage you to join in this community experiment and lend your voice to this electronic village. Share your thoughts, stories, opinion, and post any events and happenings.
RSS Feeds (Really Simple Syndication)
I have also set-up an RSS feed of the site you may subscribe too as well – see the links on the site for RSS Feeds. RSS feeds can send the new posts and or new comments to you automatically, see here for more info.
This site will be evolving so check back frequently and above all actively participate in you’re Town Government and stay informed.

Thank you Glen for having the minutes of our meetings posted. I was missing a couple (my own fault) and liked being able to retrieve them on a Sunday from your website.

I would like to invited any and all of you to come check out the road work done on Keay Road. As you might recalled I have been tring to get our raod fix for 5 years now. Well Mr. Davis himself spent about three days “repairing” this road. I can not believe this ia a job he would be proud of or gets paid for. I realize that money is short, but come on. way not fix it right instead of patching every year. This is just going to wash out and again be a almost immpossible passible TOWN road. Please come see what we are paying for. Thanks Noreen
